Telephone and online counselling are in some ways different to face to face counselling, not being in the same room as the person you are talking to or not being able to see your counsellor, not having to travel or even leave home to see a counsellor.
Clients say that working online or by telephone is just as effective as face to face counselling, but everyone is different and it comes down to personal preference.

about online counselling
Using an online platform for video conferencing, or online calls with only audio, such as Zoom, Doxy, Skype or FaceTime to connect for your counselling session.

As with face to face counselling the sessions are 50 minutes long, we agree a time that we will meet and how regularly the sessions are.

To ensure privacy and confidentiality you will need to have a space where you will not be interrupted or overheard, and there is no one else in the room.

You would need to have a computer, laptop, tablet or phone that is connected to WiFi (as online video conferencing and calls can use a lot of data), and you would need a reliable internet connection that has a speed of 70Mbps or above to ensure an uninterrupted session.
about TELEPHONE COUNSELLING
